ECO1000 is System Sensor's range of conventional fire detectors. ECO1005T A is a low-profile heat detector that uses a thermal element and an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) for fast and accurate fire detection. It has a fixed-temperature (static) element only and suits areas where the ambient temperature normally changes rapidly (e.g. kitchens). It operates on 12 V and 24 V systems. The detector LED lights in alarm and latches on until the detector is reset by a momentary power interruption; a remote LED indicator can be connected. The alarm can be tested remotely with the ECO1000RTU laser test unit. The base has a shorting spring for checking the wiring before the detectors are fitted, and a tamper-resistant feature which, when activated, prevents removal of the detector without a tool.
