Takex twin infrared beam detector | outdoor 30 m, indoor 60 m | 10–30 V DC

The PB-30TK is a Takex PB-TK series twin infrared beam detector for protecting windows, doors, fence lines, driveways and courtyards. Two synchronised beams run between the transmitter and the receiver, and an alarm is raised only when both are broken at the same time, so a passing bird or falling leaf does not cause a false alarm. Takex's patented double modulation and automatic gain control keep it reliable in direct and reflected sunlight and vehicle headlights up to 50,000 lx. The optics turn ±90° horizontally and ±10° vertically, so the units need not face each other exactly; a viewfinder and a monitor jack make alignment easy. The cover has a hood against frost and dew, and the optics are sealed against insects. Protection distance is 30 m outdoors and 60 m indoors, response time 50–700 ms. Optional accessories: PBH heater kit, KP-100/KP-150 poles, BP-60A pole bracket and BP-60TE rear cover.
