The Trikdis E16 is an Ethernet communicator that provides a stable wired link between the security system and the monitoring station through a standard RJ45 port. It connects directly to the panel's data (keypad) bus – DSC PowerSeries, Paradox (Spectra, Magellan, Digiplex), UTC Interlogix (Caddx NX), Texecom, Honeywell Vista, Crow, Pyronix and Inner Range Inception and Integriti – so it receives the full event information including zones and users, and no dialer programming is needed. Suited to buildings with an existing LAN where cellular coverage is limited. Events reach the monitoring station encrypted and, at the same time, the Protegus 2 app, from which the system can be armed and disarmed and auxiliary equipment such as HVAC, lighting or gates controlled.
