The Trikdis E16T is a universal Ethernet communicator for any alarm panel with a landline dialer. The E16T simulates a telephone line, takes the panel's events from the TIP/RING terminals in Contact ID or SIA format and sends them encrypted over the wired LAN (RJ45) to the monitoring station. To install it, the panel's dialer is simply connected to the E16T's TIP/RING terminals. The wired link suits basements, server rooms and shielded buildings where 4G/LTE coverage is weak or unavailable, and it is immune to radio jamming. The user receives push notifications in the Protegus 2 app and can arm and disarm the system remotely: a communicator output is wired to the panel's keyswitch zone for this.
