The Trikdis GATOR is a 4G LTE gate controller for remote control of gates, barriers and garage doors – for a private home as well as a busy commercial car park. Users open the gate from the Protegus 2 app, with an SMS command or simply by calling the controller: the call is rejected automatically, so opening is free of charge. More than 1000 users can be added, and access can be granted by schedule, for example for couriers or employees on certain days and hours. Two inputs monitor the gate status, and the controller notifies if the gate is left open too long or forced. The relay pulse duration can be matched to any gate or barrier automation. The administrator manages the user list remotely from the app or TrikdisConfig, and the event log shows who entered and when. The compact controller fits inside the gate automation enclosure and does not depend on local Wi-Fi.
