Xtralis FAAST FLEX aspirating smoke detector | 1 channel | up to 1600 m² | EN 54-20

Xtralis FAAST FLEX is a flexible and cost-effective aspirating smoke detector for small and medium sites – small to medium warehouses, cold stores, lift shafts, ceiling and underfloor voids, transformer and electrical rooms and low-noise areas. A speed-adjustable aspirator draws air from the sampling pipe network, an ultrasonic flow sensor at each pipe inlet monitors airflow changes, and the air is filtered by a metal mesh filter and analysed in a detection chamber based on IR LED light scattering. The detector works out of the box: it is configured with 10 DIP switches without special tools, while extended settings and rapid diagnostics are available over Bluetooth with a smartphone app. Each channel has Action, Alarm and Fault relays and a GPI input (reset, disable, external fault). The chamber, filter and aspirator are field-replaceable, an installation template and several mounting orientations make installation easy, and it operates down to -40 °C. The FLX-010 is the single-channel model for up to 1600 m²: one linear pipe up to 105 m, or branched pipework of 2 × 105 m or 4 × 68 m; EN 54-20 classes A, B and C with 5, 15 and 32 sampling holes respectively.
