Xtralis OSID imager environmental housing | grey, ABS | IP66

The Xtralis OSID environmental housing protects the imager against dust and water ingress in industrial and harsh environments (IP66, NEMA 4-4X). It is made of ABS with a glass window that attenuates the UV and IR beams only minimally. The housing is used only in systems with one emitter and one imager. Installation and servicing are easy: there are three pre-drilled fixing holes, and a heater can be fitted inside where condensation is expected. The imager housing has two cable glands and an extra window at the bottom through which the alarm and fault LEDs are visible; the lid is removed to reach the FTDI socket, below which a separate sealed cable inlet can take the supplied extra gland for servicing. With the housing the detection range is 25–125 m for the OSI-10 and 5–28 m for the OSI-90.
