The Xtralis VESDA sampling hole clip gives the aspirating pipe an accurately sized sampling hole and makes it easy to find. All holes are drilled with a single 10 mm drill and the hole size is set by choosing the clip: the clip is placed over the hole and pressed until it clicks into place – no tools or assembly needed. The clips are colour-coded (IEC 60062 resistor colour code), so the hole size can be seen from a distance, which simplifies commissioning and maintenance in warehouses and large open spaces. The chamfered hole entry reduces dust build-up, and the clip withstands the pressure shock of automatic purging.
