The DPTA-R is the control panel of the Zeta disabled toilet alarm with an added relay output – the alarm can also be passed on to another system. Each toilet's pull cord (DPTA-PC), remote reset (DPTA-RR) and remote indicator (DPTA-RI) are wired to the panel; in alarm the zone LED flashes and the panel buzzer sounds. The control panel is powered from 230 V AC 50/60 Hz and accepts a 12 V battery back-up (charging voltage 13.8 V, deep discharge protection below 10.5 V; battery saver mode). Standby current 3 mA (buzzer muted), maximum supply current 250 mA. The front has Silence, Reset (all zones) and zone 1–4 reset buttons, a green mains LED and a red alarm LED per zone (1 Hz flashing); built-in piezo buzzer (1 kHz). The panel supplies the field devices with 12 V DC ± 10%. Fire-retardant polycarbonate housing, surface or flush mounting. The Zeta disabled toilet alarm system (DPTA) is designed for disabled persons' toilets and meets the requirements of British Standard BS 8300: a pull cord in the toilet raises the alarm, an indicator outside the toilet gives a light and sound signal, and the carer cancels the alarm with the reset button in the toilet. One control panel serves up to 4 toilets (one zone per toilet); all field devices use a simple 3-wire connection (positive, negative, signal).
